Acchamundu Acchamundu and Red One camera


The shooting of the film Acchamundu Acchamundu has come to an end and post production work is going on simultaneously in Chennai and America. This film was shot in a short span of 28 days utilizing the service of Hollywood technicians. This film’s shooting took place in New Jersey and New York. Arun Vaidyanathan has directed this film starring Prasanna and Sneha. The leading actors were made to go through the script and only after rehearsal the film was shot. The most sophisticated Red One camera was utilized for this film. This camera has the capacity to record the minute details with ultra clarity. No film reels is required in this camera because the footage can be recorded in the hard disk and this facilitates to view the shot immediately which is really economical. So far this camera was being used by Hollywood stalwarts like Steven Sodenberg and Peter Jackson. But now for the first time in India the credit goes for this Tamil film for the using this camera. This Red camera is quite cheaper than any other movie cameras. This price is approximately Rs. 8 Lakhs. This film is jointly produced by Anand Govindan, Asma Hashmi, Srinivasan ,Ramzan Lakkani and Arun Vaidhiyanathan.
